FileAtom is designed with your privacy in mind.

Data Collection

FileAtom does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device.

• No analytics or tracking
• No third-party services
• No data leaves your device
• No network connections whatsoever

Permissions

FileAtom may request access to files through the Files app or your Photos library in order to inspect file metadata. This access is used solely to read and display metadata on your device. No file content or metadata is ever transmitted, shared, or stored beyond the app's local cache of recent inspections.

Data Storage

Your recent inspections history is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted elsewhere. Any preferences you set (such as dark mode) are also stored locally.

Children's Privacy

FileAtom does not collect any data from any users, including children.
